Hi Andy, I found your website quite by accident, as I was researching for my new photography project, but I'm pleased to say I've gained a lot of inspiration from your work. I am a first year student, studying Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the University of Gloucestershire and I have recently started a portraiture module. I have decided to focus my work on the world of boxing and martial arts and plan to shoot at a couple of locations near me. However, this is a world I have not been involved in at all before, so I was just wondering if you had any advice on how to shoot such figures, since you appear to have quite a bit of experience and your shoots have had some amazing results. I would be grateful of any advice.
Your portraits of boxers and clubs are very good! I am a fan of boxing photography. Are you publishing your photos in a book? Do you expose your work one day in Switzerland? I live there. Best regards
Hello Andy, My name is Dan, I'm a graduate student at University of The Arts in Philadelphia. I am working on developing a plan for a museum exhibition about philadelphia boxing when I came across your wonderful photo of Joe Frazier. I am requesting to be able to use your photograph in my design. Keep in mind that this is not a commercial use and the exhibition will not actually occur, my final deliverable is a design for this museum exhibition. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
Fantastic photos, sir. I appreciate the aesthetics. They arecertainly terrific art pieces. I'm a painter who has done some abstractions of great boxers. I have published three sports history trivia books called 'Ask Your Uncle Trivia' and am coming out with a boxing volume this summer. I was wondering if you'd be willing to submit 2 or 3 photos for inclusion in the publication. I'm not able to pay, but will certainly give you special credits and provide an email link if you'd like for some exposure of your great work in the States.
Hi Andy, are you still working on this project? your work is amazing mate. I'm a painter represented by the Albemarle gallery in London. www.neildouglas.com I'm hoping to start a series of portraits for the BP prize focusing on boxers portraits post fight, would love to hear more about your work.

Great site, great photos!
Hi Andy, I work at Kevin Maree's gym with Kenny Anderson and Luke Blackledge. I manage Kenny's website and was wondering if you would be prepared to send me some of the images to put on his website. I'll obviously credit you underneath. Luke's also looking at having a website soon and would like his pictures. If you don't like giving them away i understand. They're impressive by the way. Regards, Craig

Dear Andy, Sorry for bothering you with my email but I'm glad I found your portfolio. I'm planning to take pictures of fighters (amateur or professional) in Los Angeles. I moved to LA from my home country Hungary in the spring. My main goal is to take as many portraits as I can for my various projects. I would like to hear your advice how to start photographing in gyms? What would you suggest me to do? Walk-in certain clubs and ask the manager or the one who runs the gym? Or talk to the fighters? I really hope you'll have the time to answer. Thank you very much in advance. Best, Adam S Nagy

Amazing how you were able to get access to all these great fighters of past present and future. How did you manage to get in touch with all of them? I am a photographer from Brooklyn NY. A few months ago I was training in MMA which happens to be one of the many sports I am passionate about besides soccer and boxing. Through the training camp I found out about local events which lead me to stop my training so I can focus on my photography on portraits as well as boxing and MMA photography. I admire your project and if there is any way I can help from here I'll be glad to.

Great concept. Very nice photography work. The B&W's are my favorite. They are collectible in their own right I think. You should probably consider watermarking them to protect your work when you put them up on the internet. I'll put your link up shortly. Good luck and take care. - Dave
